Leaf segments fill 46 of the 53 wheel positions and pay 1:1. Over a long run the wheel returns 97.10% of everything staked on those bets, leaving a house edge of 2.90%. Because the payout is flat, results arrive in a tight band and bankrolls decline slowly rather than in jumps.
Bonus bets trade expected return for reach. Huge Reds resolves less than 2% of the time, so most of those stakes lose, and the value is concentrated into rare fishing rounds. RTP on bonus positions can differ from the leaf figure, and the volatility profile is entirely different.

The 5,000x figure is the theoretical top of the paytable, not a realistic session goal. It requires the rarest wheel segment, a maximum-value catch inside the fishing round, and a 10x wheel multiplier at the same time.
